Ruth’s double life

The new episode kicks off with a sermon by Pastor Musa in which he praises his wife, Ruth, for all the noble work she’s done for the community recently. Little does he know that she’s running Cain’s wash-wash operation under the guise of the church. Suspicions rise as he questions the origin of the church’s newfound financial resources, leading him to suspect that Cain is involved. Tensions mount as he realises Ruth might be keeping secrets from him.
Esther’s struggles and Detective Dan’s persistence

Esther’s departure from the church group has brought her to a new reality. Working at a grocery store checkout, she grapples with her loss of faith by turning to alcohol. Detective Dan’s relentless pursuit of justice for Benja’s death keeps their connection alive, hinting at a chemistry between them that smoulders beneath the surface.
Hope’s ambitions and Jonah’s loyalty
Hope’s aspirations for a new AirBnB venture lead to confrontation with her husband, Joe. Secrets about the funding of her project strain their relationship. Meanwhile, Jonah, now in his father’s employ, has to play the role of debt collector for Cain and is forced to murder media mogul George Matata. His loyalty is questioned when he discovers important records that could lead to his father’s arrest.
Justice is just out of reach
The plot thickens when Detective Dan receives the records from Jonah that could expose Cain’s illicit activities. However, his hopes are dashed when he learns that the source of the records, George Matata, is found dead and he can’t use the evidence to bring Cain to justice.
Manu’s body is found

Rachel is still suffering with her concern for Manu when she gets a call from the police mortuary. She asks Musa to accompany her, where a quick DNA test confirms that Manu’s body has been found, bringing the police one step closer to the truth and putting Esther and her friends at risk of exposure.
Will they be able to free themselves from the tightening grip of the criminal world they’ve become entangled with? Stay tuned as the secrets begin to unravel in the next episode of Faithless. All the episodes of Faithless are ready to bingewatch on Showmax.
