Must-watch trailer: The Real Housewives of Nairobi S2 reunion

From kidnapping allegations, to Dr Catherine Masitsa presenting the ladies with a coffin at a high-end restaurant to symbolise burying the hatchet, to Sonal Maherali announcing her exit from the show in episode 1, The Real Housewives of Nairobi S2 has served us with some shocking and unforgettable moments.

It has also given us beautiful moments like Farah Esmail having a play date with Vera’s son Ice, Dr C renewing her vows when celebrating 28 years of marriage to her husband, and Minne and Vera fully exploring their friendship and being in each other’s corner not just as friends but as family.

However, with the unveiling of the reunion trailer, it would seem this wholesome friendship and sisterhood isn’t as rosy as we thought. Things get heated when Zena accuses Minne of sharing details with her about Vera being broke. “(She said) You went to the US and came back without money,” Zena reveals. We see Vera confront Minne, who’s ready to defend herself against these allegations. Is this the end of this friendship? Only the reunion will tell.

Hosted by media and radio personality Fareed Khimani, the two-part reunion lands on Friday, 16 August and Friday, 23 August.

This is the second time Fareed will be hosting the Nairobi reunion, a role that he doesn’t take lightly as he takes a harder stance with the ladies in holding them accountable for everything that transpired in the season. “We don’t have time for that,” he says when Dr C tries to get a moment to explain her side of the story.

No stone is left unturned as Fareed gets the ladies to confront their truths, half-truths, lies, and shocking allegations, all with receipts and a surprise guest no one saw coming.
