On New Year's Eve, grounded, Nina sneaks out with friends for a beach campout.
On New Year's Day, she wakes up unsure if the previous night was real or a nightmare.
Minke Marais (Mooiweer en Warm) stars as Nina, with SAFTA nominee Ira Blanckenberg (Toorbos) as her mother. Nina’s friends are played by the likes of Een Keer Om Die Son’s Liam Bosman and Alma van Heerden, as well as 2024 Fleur Du Cap Best Student nominee Nichola Viviers.
The 48-minute film is directed by Edwin van der Walt, who won Best Actor at Silwerskerm last year for Donkerbos.
