Soos Pynappel Op Pizza
Waldo and Becca have exactly three things in common. They are both chefs. They are both single. And they both equally dislike each other.
When they end up at a wacky singles retreat in the mountains, fate keeps dumping them headfirst, together, into one crazy scenario after the other, forcing them to reexamine what they think they know about love.
SAFTA winner Schalk Bezuidenhout (Kanarie, Hotel) and SAFTA nominee Kate Pinchuck (Tali’s Baby Diary) co-star, in Afrikaans and English respectively, leading a stacked cast that includes Silwerskerm winners Rolanda Marais and Edwin van der Walt, SAFTA nominee Keenan Arrison, and Braeden Buys (Spinners, Trompoppie).
Rising star Morné Strydom (Twintig Tone In ‘n Hangkas) writes and directs the quirky romcom, which was filmed at Silvermist Wine Estate. The film is produced by multi-award-winners Nagvlug Films (Donkerbos, Nêrens, Noord-Kaap) and One More Cup of Coffee, owned by Strydom and producer Aisha Williams.
