The twisted and darkly comic coming-of-rage thriller has an 86% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, where the critics consensus says, “Ella Purnell is a diabolical delight in Sweetpea, a revenge fantasy that holds a lot of darkness beneath its playful exterior.”
Sweetpea’s ensemble cast includes two-time BAFTA winner Nicôle Lecky (Mood, Sense8); BAFTA nominees Jon Pointing (Big Boys), Leah Harvey (Foundation), and Dustin Demri-Burns (Slow Horses); Calam Lynch (Bridgerton), and Emmy nominee Jeremy Swift (Higgins in Ted Lasso).
