The Real Housewives of Abuja episode 6 recap: “I’m a child, you’re a grandma”

In The Real Housewives of Abuja episode 6, following the altercation at Arafa’s house in the last episode, Princess Jecoco brought personal security to the next hangout, which she wasn’t invited to. “You see, this is the thing that causes problems. When you are invited, you go. When you are uninvited, you go again,” Comfort comments.

Comfort and Arafa were playing golf and invited Tutu to join them, but Princess tags along. It seems intentional because Tutu says she wants to stir shit up and who better to cause chaos than Jecoco.

“I wanted to return this drink,” she says to Arafa. “It was in the invitation [but] I’m not doing liquor around nobody no more because clearly I am looked at as a drunk bitch.”

Arafa thinks she is disrespectful for returning a gift, but Tutu is still salty about the events at her party. The snide comments stereotyping her as a wild girl have her uncomfortable around the women and she is throwing shades all day in this episode.

Comfort is hosting the ladies to a fragrance-themed event at her country home. “I call it my country home ‘cause you have to travel to get to where the house is,” she explains as she heads to meet her first guest, the usually late Samantha, who arrives super early.

Princess vs Arafa and Comfort part 2

Before the event, Princess was giving Arafa and Comfort at the golf hangout, and they were giving her back! It is premium gbas gbos, insults with finesse.

“You preach too much, and you don’t own up to the shit that you do,” she tells Comfort.

“Tutu, is this what I … I didn’t come here for this,” Comfort replies, facing Tutu, who brought Princess to the hangout.

“Our little bulldog here goes on again,” Arafa provides commentary.

Comfort walks out as Princess rains insults on her. Arafa stands up to leave, joining Comfort, and Princess faces her.

“You, run away,” she goes for her. “Listen, as you’re on your way out, look at that car over there, and that’s what security is. The two uniforms are not alike.”

Princess is referencing Arafa calling her home security on her.

Tutu is enjoying all of it; she is having so much fun watching Princess lambasts them. “Of course, when the kitchen is hot, people run out of it,” she says in her confessional. “It was so hilarious; that’s why I didn’t even try to separate any of them. Ride on.”

Tutu’s deliverance

OJ Posharella had said Tutu needs deliverance. It is possible she was banting – you know OJ is always playful. However, Tutu is angry. First, she is a wild girl and an alcoholic, and now she needs deliverance.

“OJ, I need deliverance?” she questions where that is coming from. “How do I need deliverance? That’s extreme. Here is my thing, deliverance is not the word to use with Tutupie. Come on.”

Comfort is trying to douse the situation, but Tutu worries about what they say behind her back.

Arafa pulls Tutu for a chat

It is Tutupie’s episode, and we are living in it. All the top moments in this episode happen around her and Princess, but Jekoko has been uninvited to Comfort’s event. So queen Tutu is reigning.

Arafa pulls her aside to squash the tension between them. “I did say if you’re going to have an intervention on alcohol, it probably should be Arafa, not me,” Tutu tells Arafa what she said about her.

The statement is confusing to Arafa because she doesn’t think she is not drunk.” For how long have you known me? Have you ever seen me drunk or misbehave, ever in public? So why would you even say that?” Arafa asks, puzzled by Tutu’s statement.

Tutu goes around in circles, explaining she went guns-blazing because they annoyed her. She eventually apologises but maintains the same energy in her confessional. “Arafa will be collecting by default for just being in that space and listening to the conversation,” she says.
