Spurs XI
Manager: Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou became head coach of Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 57-year-old is the first Australian to take charge of a Premier League club, having joined Spurs after two successful seasons with Celtic, with whom he won five major trophies, including back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles and League Cups.
Born in Greece, Postecoglou moved to Australia at the age of five. He became a footballer, playing for South Melbourne and earning four caps for the Australian national team. He has enjoyed a 27-year coaching career.
Before Celtic, he was head coach of Japanese team Yokohama F Marinos, winning a league title. Postecoglou was in charge of the Australian national men’s team for four years, a period in which he led them to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, as well as winning the Asia Cup. In 2011, while coach of Brisbane Roar, Postecoglou’s team made Australian sporting history, becoming the first team to go 36 consecutive A-League matches unbeaten.
During his first season as Spurs’ head coach, the Australian made history after winning the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award three times in a row.
