The Real Housewives of Durban S4: Nonku exposes Angel

The ladies are on a mission to expose certain people in the group. While they have their differences, it seems like some of them agree on one thing: there are some inconsistencies with Angel. On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Durban, Maria was happy to finally see her co-stars seeing Angel “for who she really is”.

This became clear when the ladies went on a getaway to the mountains. While the area looked like a place that would inspire peace and calm, some issues arose.

Nonku and Angel go off

The ladies were chilling and having some downtime. Angel then started a conversation, telling her co-stars: “I went to Slee to speak about what happened yesterday.” She was referring to Slee’s comments about not being happy with the ladies’ reaction to her burning incense.

“Until I spoke to her, I didn’t realise just how upset she was.” Nonku then brought up the fact that Angel said some mean things to her at breakfast. She said: “I feel like this is taking me back to the person that I hate being. Why would you just go off at me like that?” Angel denied going off at Nonku and explained that she was very upset at the fact that she was trying to be vulnerable with them.

While Nonku doesn’t have a problem with Angel’s vulnerability, she doesn’t like her attitude. An exchange of words happened between the two ladies during breakfast (off camera). There were things said about Slee, and Angel even accused Nonku of calling her ugly, which she denied.

The truth comes to light

“Thank God, I have a recording for what happened at breakfast,” Nonku said. In the recording, Angel is heard saying to Nonku: “You choose your battles like you choose your face app filters.” Nonku responds by saying: “I look way better than you.”

At the end of the conversation, Angel walked away, leaving Zama, Maria, Nonku and Jojo to have a debrief. “Angel is a liar. She’s a liar of a child and she suffers from amnesia. And she’s quick to apologise to try and rectify the situation,” Zama said. Maria was happy that the ladies finally got to see Angel for who she is – a pathological liar, according to her.
