016FM Season 1 episode 12 recap: Kwaal 'n all
In the latest episode of 016FM, the highly anticipated Kwaal kicks off, and the stakes have never been higher. Whiskey is ready to take down Pius, Keith is still locked up, and the Prof makes a shocking discovery about one of his kidnappers. Here’s the recap.
The Kwaal begins

It’s finally here - the day of the Kwaal! Tsietsi and Whiskey make their final checks before the big event. But with the Prof’s life hanging in the balance and Keith still missing, there’s a lot more at stake than the race to become station manager.
Queen is up to something

Whiskey and Tsietsi pull Latoya and Karabo aside, confiding in them that Queen is working with Pius and plotting something big. They ask them to keep the event running smoothly while they investigate Queen’s suspicious behaviour.
The Prof recognises TK

At Pius’s scrapyard, TK is guarding the Prof, his face hidden by a mask. But the Prof soon realises who he is - TK, one of his students! The Prof urges TK to be careful and promises they’ll find a way out of this mess.
The Kwaal heats up

Whiskey amps up the crowd as the Kwaal kicks off, hyping them for the showdown that will decide the next station manager. Will it be Tsietsi or Whiskey? Meanwhile, Keith is trapped in the station’s basement.
The stalker’s shocking reveal

Keith’s mysterious stalker finally makes her move - she’s been tracking Keith’s phone all along. Imagine the shock when she tracks it straight to… Queen’s handbag! Queen is forced to confess where they’re holding Keith.
Whiskey and Tsietsi team up

Whiskey and Tsietsi join forces to search for Keith and piece together the details of Pius’s elaborate plan to use the Kwaal as a front for moving stolen goods out of town. Whiskey admits to Tsietsi that he was forced to help Pius because Pius has TK.
The Prof and TK’s escape goes wrong

Meanwhile, the Prof and TK try to escape, but their plan is foiled when Pius catches them. Things have gone from bad to worse, and now they’re both in even greater danger.
Will Tsietsi and Whiskey manage to stop Pius and save their loved ones? What will happen to the Prof and TK? Don’t miss the next episode - things are getting real! Stay tuned to Showmax for new episodes of 016FM, every Wednesday.
