New cast members Jojo Robinson, Londie London and Thobile Mseleku join returning cast Annie, Nonku, LaConco and Sorisha on The Real Housewives of Durban Season 2.
Season 2 of the Showmax Original, The Real Housewives of Durban launched on 28 January 2022.
In Season 1 we were introduced to eThekwini queens Nonkanyiso Conco (LaConco), Ayanda Ncwane, Sorisha Naidoo, Kgomotso Ndungane, Nonku Williams and Annie Mthembu, a group of ambitious women with their own business empires. While lavish lifestyles, high fashion and glamour were the order of the day, the housewives also dealt with personality clashes, parenting challenges and other everyday struggles.
The highlights of Season 1 included the explosive first episode; LaConco’s spicy moments; Ayanda’s recollection of her husband’s death; Nonku’s emotional scene at Sifiso Ncwane’s grave; their various successful and disastrous hosting events and of course, The Real Housewives of Durban reunion episodes.
The build-up to and the aftermath of the reunion episodes showed that there were some unresolved issues between a few of the housewives. Kgomotso Ndungane, for example, was absent from the two-part reunion.
Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Durban gave fans a taste of what to expect in seasons to follow.
Annie, LaConco, Nonku and Sorisha all return for Season 2, joined by TikTok sensation Jojo Robinson, singer Londie London and reality star Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku.
The highlight of Season 2 saw LaConco come under the spotlight about her new love interest, Thobile’s introduction dinner with husband Musa Mseleku ruffled a lot of people’s feathers and of course who can forget the confessions game that had a few ladies in defence mode. And lastly, Season 2’s two-part reunion was another one for the books!
Season 1 and 2 are available to binge on Showmax.
