Dora escorts Sinde to her room, questioning her motives for reappearing. Unbeknownst to Dora, Sinde's return is part of a calculated scheme. With the support of Lucas and Sophia, Sinde aims to take down not only Evangeline but also the true puppet master - Charles himself. 

Sinde finds herself as a servant in Charles' household, under his watchful eye, biding her time until the perfect moment to strike. But bringing down Senior won't be a walk in the park, and Sinde must navigate treacherous waters.

The farmers’ strike continues

Amid the ongoing farmers' strike, Lucas tirelessly negotiates on their behalf with East Africa Granary Company. Together with the farmers, he strategises to settle their debts and secure an alternative buyer for their maize. As the negotiations unfold, an undeniable chemistry between Sophia and Lucas begins to sizzle, leaving us questioning if their connection runs deeper.

A play for power

While Evangeline’s grip on power weakens, Tehi’s star begins to rise. He finally confronts Charles, demanding answers for the traumatic experience of being left in Athi to fend for himself. As it turns out, it was all part of an elaborate sobriety lesson. The question arises: Is Tehi finally free from his addiction? Can he step up as the true heir of EAGC?

During the crucial final negotiations between East Africa Granary Company and the farmers, a shocking turn of events unfolds. Just as favourable terms seem within reach, Tehi, now part of the negotiations with Jackson Kiilu, unexpectedly pulls out a gun and shoots a farmer at point-blank range, cementing his commitment to his family empire.

While Joel deals with the aftermath of the murder, Lucas, who is left deeply disturbed by the incident, grapples with his guilt. Can he recover, and will Sophia be his guiding light in the fight against EAGC?

Guess who’s back again

In a surprising twist, Katherine, the former CFO, resurfaces to join the Second Family cast, this time as Charles' secret weapon in his quest for control. Tasked with guiding Tehi as the designated heir, Katherine wastes no time flexing her power, intimidating Cyrus with veiled references to a mysterious "syndicate".

The changing face of East Africa Granary Company

As the IPO looms, the public faces of EAGC stand tall, but their hidden truths threaten to bring them down. Sinde forges an alliance with Katherine, determined to be taken seriously. Katherine helps Sinde upgrade her wardrobe to look the part, but no amount of clothing can hide the naked truth - Sinde's back with a single-minded purpose: to bring Evangeline down and dismantle the Gatehi empire.
